What Nelkano does with your data
The public beta is documented with a cautious policy: explain what data the app uses, what stays on your device and what external services may be involved if you enable them.
Local data
The library, settings, saves and save states are managed on the device unless you enable synchronization features.
Nelkano account
The account is used for profile, friends, activity, online sessions and connected features. It does not replace your local files and does not include protected content.
Optional Google Drive
Drive sync uses the limited drive.file permission to create or access project files in your own Google account, not to read your whole Drive.
Protected content
Nelkano does not include games, ROMs, BIOS files, firmware, keys or saves. Users must only use files they have rights to use.
Own servers
Nelkano does not upload ROMs or BIOS files to its own servers and does not sell personal data.
