Game Boy arrived in 1989 and Game Boy Color in 1998. Nintendo's two handhelds brought together adventures, platformers, puzzles and many other genres. Nelkano lets you play games for both and automatically detects which system each game needs.
What you can do today

- Play with on-screen buttons or an Android-compatible controller.
- Move, resize and hide the on-screen buttons.

Getting started with Game Boy / GBC
Save a game on your device
You need a .gb or .gbc file.
Add the game to Nelkano
Open the library, tap + and select the file. Nelkano will add it to your library and open the game. You can also import it in a .zip or .rar archive.
Choose how to play
Use the on-screen buttons or a compatible controller. You can adjust button positions and sizes in Nelkano's control editor. If you use a Bluetooth controller, pair it in Android settings first.

Do I need to choose between Game Boy and Game Boy Color?
No. Add your .gb or .gbc file and Nelkano will automatically detect which system the game needs.
Can I save my game and continue later?
Yes. You can save the game state and load it later to return to the same point. This also works in games that had no save feature on the original console.
